John Deere 60 tractor and John Deere 30 combined

Got this combine about 200 miles from the farm I was told it sat outside for 8 years.Hooked it up to the 60 and took it to the feild.It did a great job cut a full tank and harvest was over.I think I got my $250.00 worth it was fun using it.I think I'm going to pull it in the parade this weekend.

I got it off ebay and towed it all the way home with the pickup.Interesting trip thou found out it sticks out 3 feet to the drivers side into on coming traffic made going thru the bridges hairy at times .Also blew a tire had to go to a wrecking yard to buy one .The tires I took for back up were too wide.Got more pics just have to figure out how to post them all at once rather then one at a time.
 
Wow! Takes me back about fifty years when a neighbor would come and combine our oats with a 60 and 12A combine. That's the first combine I drove, or should I say steered. I was about 8 or 9 at the time and he wanted to unload on-the-go so he had me steer the tractor while he leveled the oats in the wagon being pulled along side the combine. I thought I was a grownup after that. Jim
 
Hot dog! My story is almost identical! EBay, 30 combine, blown tire, works well. haha Except I paid $550, and its a bit rustier.
