Tractors on the Big Mac Bridge

As many of you know, over 500 antique tractors crossed the Mackinaw Bridge on Sept 12th. The first time ever event was a great visual spectacle and a great ride for all involved.

It's been 30+ years since I crossed that bridge. How much is the toll for a passenger car now-a-days? Did they charge car rates for each tractor?

Just curious,

Another pic, an Australian made Chamberlain, having already crossed the ocean, crosses the Straits of Mackinaw.

Great pics. I tried to take some while I was driving my JD B, but was just too busy keeping in line to get much. I was an AWESOME experience. There wasn't one guy coming off that bridge that didn't have a grin from ear to ear. I know everyone that participated was very happy with it.

Last time I crossed that thing was 2 years ago coming back from the UP State Fair. They were working on the paved part and I had to drive on the grates. Truck was pulling all over the place. My brother crossed it on the grates on his motorcycle one time. Said that was quite the trip.

I hit a short bridge with grates one time on Motorcycle at about 60 MPH came back the same way in a pickup.

PS threw those shorts away.
