graham plow

I was wanting to located a graham plow for ripping up roots left before putting a field into crops. Anyone have any ideas on finding one. Thanks John

Can not answer your question because I don't know what a graham plow is, or even where you live. Perhaps you have some insite into something that has puzzeled me for years. Why does my dad keep calling our John Deere chisel plow the "Graham Home Conservation Plow" ?

We have my Dad's chisel plow that he bought in the 50s. The brand name was Graham Hayme. (Spelled different but phonetically correct) Is that what you want? Any good chisel plow will do. As Gene said they are around here in Iowa.

Iowa Tire Guy that is the plow I am looking for, do you want to sell your Dad's plow. And how far are you from Macomb,Illinois. Thanks John

Chisel plows also litter the landscape in SWND. No one summer fallows anymore. The narrower they are the more they cost. 10 to 14 feet are the most expensive, The tree growers love them. 21 feet plus you have scrap iron. Although the wings, with some welding, can make nice 3pt units. Twisted spikes are best for ripping up tree roots.
