OT- Tool Box for Pickup Truck

I"ve got a 1971 IHC pickup, an old farm truck, that I plan to start driving regularly. I want to buy a good sturdy, locking tool box to put in the back. It seems that everyone with a pickup has one these days. Are there some good brands that I should look at? Are there any manufacturers to avoid?

I put a new one from TSC on my 94 chev in 95. It was one of damond plated looking ones ( $270or so). It is loaded with tools and whatever and it has not sagged or twisted any. Every so often I was it down with power washer and it looks like new.

Dave, There are many, many, makes and styles of toolboxs for pickups. If it is JUST a place to keep some non-valuable stuff then any ol cheap box will do! If what you keep in it is Valuable, Important Stuff that you need on a regular basis then just as ELD said Only buy a RKI box theifs will go around a truck with a RKI box but will pass on trying to break in one!
Later,
John A.

Get one that goes all the way to the truckbed. You will have to measure to be sure because they look like they do but are suspended 1 foot off the floor. The weight breaks the corners out of the ones from TSC, etc. ,like the others said.
