Transmission oil in my bell housing

I need help. Split my 1956 MF50 Continental gas engine today. Found TONS of transmission oil in my bell housing and all over my clutch; NOT engine oil. I knew this was going to be an issue beause transmission oil would come out of a hole in the side of the clutch housing when running. Where is the bad seal and how hard is this to replace. I have my tractor split apart to overhaul it.
Thanks.

Follow your splined shaft back to where it enters the transmission case, your leaking seal is right there. you should be able to pull the old seal without tearing it down any farther and the new seal will go in the same way

Check the shaft, in the area where the seal rides,
if the old seal has worn a groove in it, then it
will leak again soon after the new one is
installed. Install a SPEEDI-SLEEVE over the groove
