Corn picker

Hi Guys,

yesterday I was at an auction. There was a couple of New Idea two row corn picker"s and a New Idea one row picker. Are the one row picker"s a lot harder to find now? How much should a gut pay for one that is in pretty good shape? thanks

Location is everything. One row picker was worth about scrap price locally. 100 miles or more away you can find a sucker - er buyer pay $1000 for one.

I've got a NI 300 picker I should get rid of, not sure what it's worth either.

If you're looking for a one row,I'd go with a 323. That's the last one made. A lot fewer moving parts than the old No.7 or No.10. Either of those wouldn't be worth more than iron price by the ton.As far as a 2 row, depends on location and whether they are wide or narrow row.
