This mower ran great full power, then started to suddenly stall out. I"d let it sit an hour and it starts, runs a while, then suddenly cuts out and dies dead. Now I can get it to run only a minute or two, runs great, then just dies...Tried to clean the carb, got an hour of solid run time, but now dies after a minute or less. Any clues?

If you cleaned the carb and it ran for an hour I would think that more crud got into the carb from the fuel tank. clean the carb again and install or change the inline fule filter.

That would be my first thought.

Thanks for the thoughts. I did pull the carb again, it looked squeeky clean, but I dunked it, soaked it, blew out w/ air again, and got just about a minute of run time. Has fresh fuel, new filter, clean lines. Also checked the spark and that looks good. Has new air filter too. Noticed the smell of gas after it stalled, and each time I pull the carb, it has fuel inside and in the bowl. Seems like fuel is getting into the bowl but not up into the cylinders, or some such thing. What else could be wrong with this type of motor and/or carb?
