Help! I have a post hole digger on my TO-30. When I raise the 3 point, it gets to the top and "bounces". What do I need to adjust. I have tried to adjust the quadrant and the draft spring but nothing helps.

gary i recall reading this problem here before and the solution may have been tochange hydraulic oil. ie dirty oil making the pump valves stick a little. i hope i am thinking right. did you search the archives? you may try there searhing: hydraulic bouncing or something like that. good luck, post what you find.

As the lift piston move out to the end of the stroke, it supposed to push on the control Fork and move the control valve to the neutral position. Pull the side plate off and see what's hapening to cause yours to behave the way it is. It could be some dirt in the valve that's allowing it to only partially move to the neutral position and then it just sits there and oscillates.

Does your boom have different settings where the "U" bracket bolts on. If so, try setting it in a different hole. Had one on a Ford and I went thru the entire top cover and couldn"t make it stop. Put the "U" bracket in a different hole and it worked perfect.

Hey,
Thanks, guy's. I worked for Deere for 25 years as a service tech. If it was green, I could fix it, lol. I have some things to try. Thanks, again
