Where to get Farmall Red paint?

(quoted from post at 09:02:56 08/28/08) Where is the best place to get Farmall Red paint?
bought some at Tractor Supply on sale, $27.00 gallon and the hardner, $10.00, for my old bush hog.
They also sell it here in the parts area, probably a lot better quality.

International Red. I painted (sprayed) my 350 with this back in 1998-99 with almost no fade in 10 years. The only problem was it was "soft" for almost two years before it finally seemed to toughen up.

The areas I used a rattle can (headlights and around the dash) it did fade a noticeable amount. The rest of the sheet metal was sprayed using paint from the quart cans that you are supposed to apply with a brush.

Best part is you don't need to use primer eliminating a big step.

Get it from CaseIH. Thin with acrylic enamel reducer. Add 1 pint acrylic enamel hardener per gallon. You'll get a paint job that others can dream about.

(quoted from post at 06:02:56 08/28/08 i only use orignal paint from dealer. one the main reasons is you can always get a can of spray paint later on if you need to do some touch up with out mixing up a batch. also like the quart can less waste when done.
