I have to rent a trailer to haul a 1946 JD A can some one tell me the width of theirs Thanks

Anywhere from 6 feet to 8 feet more or less depending on how far the wheels are on the axles.
Get a full 8 foot wide deck over and then you won't have to worry.

If you slide the wheels in and with the dish of the wheel in you can haul the A on a standard width car or utility trailer that has its wheels outside the bed and a real low center of gravity. This makes this type of trailer cheaper, easier to load and safer to tow than the deckover trailer.
