Still need a generator.

Two days ago I was trying to find a generator for a DC4 Case tractor for my nephew. I now have the number of the old one. It's the original and it's an Autolite GAS-4167. He would also be able to use a Prestolite 45-221, a Dixie TG-511, or a Wilson 92-06-1042.The last two may be Canadian units. The original has a cutout mounted on it and he would like it also since he does'nt know if the old one works.
 
1.) Type "Autolite GAS-4167" into GOOGLE.
2.) You will then see several sources that have generators for sale.
 
Try JENSALES at www.external_link, these are the
people that have thousands of manuals for sale,
but they also have a division rebuilding and
selling new and rebuilt starters and generators
for older equipmrnt.
 
Wilson is out of Winnipeg, Canada. Their main US distribution center is in Minneapolis. They have GOOD products.

Their phone # is 1-800-877-5210. They will NOT sell to you direct, but if you call them, they will verify if the 92-06-1042 is in stock, and refer you to a reseller in your area.

In our area, stores affiliated with the O'Reilly's chain can get Wilson products in 1 or 2 days, with no added freight charge.

If this is possible in your area, it could be a considerable savings over ordering over the 'net.
