Which fuel tank sealer is the best?????

I have a fuel tank off a styled JD B that leaks. I tried to sodder and mig weld the holes. Just having problems plus it"s full of rust.I found several brands. Has anyone tried them? Which one it the best or easiest? I can use all the help I can get.

I have used Red coat por15 with good results

Sealpak company, Wichita, Kansas. 316-942-6211. Expensive stuff, but never fails. Even embeds fine rust if you don't get it all cleaned out. I have used it on every tank i have.

If its that bad, then Id look for another tank. With that many holes, its liable to fall apart.

I use Eastwoods but if I was a betting man I would bet that if the directions are followed to the letter for each brand that you would not have a problem with any of them. It all has to be a two part epoxy of some color slow to set up.

I have been satisfied with Kreem brand that I bought from J.C. Whittney. I do think if the tank is that bad you should try to find a better one and then go ahead and seal it inside. You will probley be happier in the end.
