Axle and grill are DEFINATELY not a 35. Looks to be either an MF 50 or MF 65. A 50 will have same tranny and rear end as a 35. EARLY 65"s will too. MF 50 diesel would be Perkins AD3-152. (3-cylinder) MF 65 would be 4 cylinder diesel.

I"m voting MF65

Per the books I have it is a 1962 Massy Ferguson, They were built from 1958-1964,42.13 drawbar HP,48.59 Belt PTO HP,4485 lbs, 6/2 gears.

the sdnw is: S for standard Utility, D for diesel, N for Perkins diesel, W for multi power.
MF65 were 4 cylinder diesels.

I'm not a MF person but the book I have says all MF serial numbers are by the instrument panel console except the later larger tractors.

thanks for the help guys I appreciate it

my typo on the one number its 183 not 185

yes its definately a 4cyl so yes i agree 62 mf65

she still cuts the fileds out here but only once a year

This was inherited when my father in law bought his houseback in 79 or 80
