Case 444 Mower Deck Service Maunal

I'm looking for a mechanic serice manual for a J sereis 44" deck. Need to replace the bearings and can't remove the shaft to get to them.

Any idea's or do you have Case dealers in your state that would copy and send them to me.

It's a 1971 and is in vintage condition. Have had since 1982 and it runs like a CASE!

Why do you need a service manual( not sure if there even is such a thing). The spindles will drive out from the top after you pull the
pulley(s) off them. Be careful removing the pulleys as it is easy to warp them if you exert too much pull on them. Bearings are simple roller bearings so there is no preload to be concerned about when installing new ones. All components, including spindles and brgs. are available from Ingersoll dealers if you need to replace any of those.

You will need a hydraulic press to remove the old bearings.
