I was at an auction this am. I quit bidding on an 806D witha M & W turbo at $2800, it sold for $3100 I beleive. Decent cab , needed some glass, good tires, striaght tin. I cant figure out why I didnt buy it. It has the T/A, trannie, and rearend all gone through recently and also had an overhaul. I am not even gonna say what the 1066 and 2+2 went for. The 544 gas, missing some sheet metal and fenders, ran well, went for $1500. Any one else from here at that auction. I felt bad for the owner things went waaay too cheap. Whay didnt I bid up that 806, with new paint and windows it would bring $8000 pretty easily. Whats wrong with me.?

Okay Dave ,

Don't be too hard on yourself. You might have bid it up but you never know for sure how high it would have went. You never know the other person's limit.

Well, money pocketed is money saved.

I get WAY too giddy with my wallet when I DO go to auctions.

At least your wife will be happy.

Here is the 806, 2+2 and a feild cultivator that only brought $400, the 1066, real cheap, and I thinbk the combine and head brought $400 or so.

Good thing that i was not there as everything you showed in pictures would be Buckeye bound . Guess i need to get back into the buying again and just start going a little feather from home . And get me a nice 9370 or a 9400 binder and a 53 foot step deck and start back to saleing again.

That's about what it's worth to me, or a bit more too...
Big, cheap stupid power.
Must have been some nice deals there!

Dont feel too bad. After buying and selling many years...it's my experience that it isnt that you didnt buy that hurt you, it's the ones you bought that you shouldnt have.

I was at an auction of Friday where a very nice condition 4366 went for $3000, and an even newer CIH 4WD rig sold for $2100. The Ford 640 I went to look at sold for $4200.....
