Ford 4000

New User
Just bought a Ford 4000. Great little tractor. The previous owner believed it to be a 1972 but I'd like to find out for sure. What numbers am I looking for and where and can anyone translate them? Also I'd like to put a loader on this tractor but all the info I found says the factory live pump only supplies 5.3 GPM, is there any way to jump this up to 10-12 GPM and about 2000 psi or better?

The serial number will be stamped on the upper right hand front corner of the Trans and on inside right hand hood panel. It should be someting like C327200, or a larger number. The tractor was built from 1962/1965-1975

There are some numbers stamped on the corner of the trans. They read as follows.
6_F_28_B
41024E
C165283 7B07
Can you translate that for me. I sure do appreciate all the great help and advice given on this forum.
