Anyone know any new news on if they are going to release it again?

No news, it may still be quite some time before all of the environmental studies are done.

I sell seed for one of the larger alfalfa seed companies and they have warned us to be on the lookout for seed shortages because everyone had put some much effort into RR alfalfa. Guess we will see what happens.

Latest information I had was that it would be the latter part of 2009 before it became available again. They want to make sure they have the "proper" environmental impact study done this time. Monsanto wants it on the market. Since they have all the big bucks, it will be back.
