Say what?

Bigger than the nut that's on the bolt or the nut that's holding the wrench?

working on this old tractor( takes 2 different sized wrenches for one bolt) , forgot about them old days! dont know if thats what your talking about, but thought about it when i started working on this old rat

If you will look both 7/16 and 9/16 bolt have a differing size nut to the bolt head. A 7/16 capscrew/bolt has a 5/8 head but the nut is 11/16. I am not sure on the 9/19 capscrew/bolt but I think the head is 7/8 and the nut is 15/16.

I believe you mean to say, 1/2 in bolt takes a 3/4in nut and a 3/4 sized wrench with which ti tighten the nut What SAY ??? NUff said Henry
