Rear wheel spacing up date

First off Thanks for all the input and ideas,
Roy sorry to hear that your C locked up, I know I'm not much help, but if there is something I can help with let me know.
Roy I'm getting a nice rain right now how about you?
Leroy to answer your questions: I have been using a C-20 two bottom fast hitch. This spring I bought a Oliver plow master 100 on rubber that I want to play with before plow day next year. The setting up instructions on the C-20, say set the right wheel at 23" for the 14" cut but doesn't say where the left one should be or if it matters. Right Now I'm 79" center to center on 40" rows. I have not thought about trying 66" and I'm not sure I could stand being 4" closer on each side. The 79" that I"m at is like 38" instead of 23" The planter I use has very little adjustment side to side. Thanks again for the insight
When my Dad was alive he took care of all that and all I had to do was drive.

The Ford tractor manual says they could only be set out to a 76" center to center tread and that was used for 42" rows that was common at that time. That 23 " designation means you should be running a 60" center to center wheel tread and that would also be ideal for that Oliver plow. The hitches on the Oliver plows were not as good to set for a wide wheel tread as about all of the other makes were. The oliver plow could still be used with a 66" wheel tread but just a might more difficult to adjust. For a 30" row on a 60" tread you have 15" from row to center of tire and for that same 15" on a 40" row you are where you are at now. If you could set your planter and cultivator both on 36" rows then there would be no problem with like a 66" tread

no rain here just good warm not overly hot thank goodness cause I had to pull the radiator out of my car and rod it out (one of the tanks came loose so I decided to take it completely off and rod it) when I do get the Super C up and running again I want to find a belly mower for it if you run across one even if it needs repair
