Okay, I have a 1954 Ford NAA.... I put the 12 volt conversion kit on it along with a new 3 ohm coil and points eliminator. After I got it all done the tractor fired right up and ran the best it has ever ran.... it continued to run great for about 45 minutes... then just quit. Now it wont start, it just cranks. I suspect the resistor... What do you guys think???? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

You need to do some simple trouble shooting. First off check if you have spark at the plugs. If you don't then you know its in the wiring. If you do have spark then its a fuel problem.

Way more info needed for us not to guess.

You can test the resistor with a volt meter to see if it is still good.
If you find that the resistor or the coil is bad take some good advise and use a true 12v coil. You can get one from Napa for about $17; part # IC14-SB and do away with that silly resistor.
