ot:: laws about recording a persons w/out concent?

I believe Nebraska is a one-party consent state, meaning only one person involved in the conversation has to be aware it's being recorded. At least that's how it is for telephone conversations and in-person situations would not likely be held to a stricter standard.

The federal law is one party consent for phone conversations, but there are a handful of states that require two-party consent.

Google the key words and you should be able to find a lot of info on the topic.

Just watch what you say -- and you don't have to worry about the recording -- but if you don't -- then you should be recorded ,,, easy as that !

You mean kinda like two people in an elevator one passes gas both of you know who did it. BTW, don't try it with the IRS either and they don't care what your state law is they won't have any part of it believe me they'll hang up on you because they have a detection device that knows when they are being recorded. I've been through it. This is our government in action.
