JD D hydraulic pump ?

I dont know everything about tractors that is why Im asking an old Deere hand out there I saw a JD D with a pump like attachment on the fender next to the pulley (right side) and the hoses ran down the fender what is this is this all about?

If you mean it's belted to clutch pulley it's just a farmer made add on. JD made a later attachment hydraulic pump but it fit between the mag and governor drive. Some also would put a later powertrol unit from a A or AR on the Ds with different seat.

It looked way to neat for a homemade job I could be wrong with the placement of it.
