Hydraulic piping

My Farmall 400 is leaking hydraulic fluid from a couple places. One is the actual hose fitting that goes to the power steering. So I think that requires a new hose. The other leaks are in a pioneer quick coupler and it appears it is also in some of the piping. I assume that uses plumbers fittings or something.
So the question is how do you tighten the pipes while keeping the fittings in the right orientation?

Do they have opposite threads on them? I am really not educated on this stuff.

You have to disasemble and put together one piece at a time to make sure everything points in the right direction. The hose end that's leaking could be cut off and a new one put on if the hose is long enough and worth saving. godspeed

You need to wipe the quick disconnect with a clean rag and try and determine where the leak is
and take a picture, then post it. It may need replacing. They're probably using pipe fittings
with the disconnects and can be removed easily with a 12" adjustable wrench. Any hydraulic parts store should have replacements. Take the old one along so it can be matched. Hal

Many female quick disconnects have an O-ring
indide to seal against the male tip. It"s easy
to pull out with a probe, or icepick, and just
replace it. That will probably stop the leaking.
