Lanse: Oil or Water Passage??

So, Lanse: you never came clean on this! Is that file handle in the oil or water passage? Was that fitting a petcock for the water passage?

The stupid thing is in the oil passage (as indicated by the line that runs from this passage to the oil pump). Its still in there somewhere. I lost sight of it, and i think it has gone down the passage. Yeah im mad.

I think i will pull the head today and see what the story there is.

I don't know which oil passage it is but I am guessing if it is in the head, all it oils are the rocker arms. If you have a square file tang in a round hole, there will be enough room around it to oil the rockers. I would just leave it. Where can it go?
