ih 784 steering problem

I have replaced the steering motor and rebuild the steering cyclinder and steering cyclinder box but still only slight movement at the wheels left or right what else is there to do. front end loader lifts ok and rear hydraulics ok . replace all check valves ect

Sounds like my 584 when I change the trans filter. You need to change the filter and make sure the hydraulic fluid is up to the proper lever, then you have to purge the air out of the system by working the steering wheel back and forth, raising and lowering the hydraulics etc, after working the wheel back and forth for several minutes the steering finally responds and returns to normal..but the fluid level has to be correct!

Found the problem ,front spindle shafts rusted stuck in the arms, the bushings gave way and lost all grease and the tractor had set for about 3 weeks before I use it. Goes to show me always check grease and lube regular. I had to pulled front spindles cleaned them up and cleaned the shafts out and install new bushings and grease. It steers like new now . Always look for the simple things thanks every one
