Marvel/Schebler carburetor #'s

I have several TSX carbs that I can't identify. I was wondering if anyone has a listing of carb numbers and what they were used on? Or does anybody know where I can find this info?

John Deere has a Service Manual SM-2024 that would list the ones they used. That would be of some help. Not sure how you would find out what other companies used.

I understand the Carb companies, or at least some, published catalogs for their dealers, etc, that listed their carbs by number/letter ID and showed what they were originally used on...you can post on various forums/sites in the hope someone who has one sees your post...
If you"re interested in selling/trading, you could contact some of the antique carb outfits, who would have such catalogs, to see if they"d be interested or if they"d ID them for you. Good luck.

Old I & T standard units books also had carburetor listings, but you had to have the I & T manuls as well to find out what the application was. Why not post the numbers and like for me I have 99% of the Oliver number I could compare it against my list. J.

One way that will get you a little more info is to select "tractor parts" on the left side of this page, then select "fuel system/air intake" which will bring up all the carbs. Then search for the particular "TSX###" number using the "edit-find(on this page)" from your browser menu bar. It should give you some good info on what models the carb is used on. If you know the make it helps a lot, since the search might tell you a carb is used on a "B", but won't tell you if it's a Farmall B, an Allis Chalmers B or one of them goofy green Bs.

Type each part # into GOOGLE. Most likely, you'll get a "hit" on at least a few of them.

Thanks for the replys. A few of the carb #'s are 264, 33, 330, 56. I was hoping out there someplace someone had a chart with the #'s and applications.

Did you try GOOGLE, as I suggested? In just a few minutes I found these through GOOGLE. NOT "all-inclusive", I'm sure, but a good start, at least!

33... Ford 9N and 2N tractors

56... ???

264... Cockshutt 30 tractors

330... Continental F-140 industrial engine, various applications

Thank you for that list. I noticed in the Oliver section about 20 models were not covered so it sure helps but and I used to help with applications for the aftermarket mistakes and ommisions are and can be made. It helps me. Thanks again. J.
