I have been sitting here on the computer and watching espn but I suppose I should get going. The 2510 lost oil pressure mowing hay a couple of weeks ago and I havent had chance to look at it but with the rain overnight, today is the day. I'm going to pull the pan and have a look around. Hoping the relief valve is stuck in the oil pump! Anybody else got a good project for today?

That 1066 from out west likes to die right after I start it unless I run the throttle 1/2 open.

Rained last nite and cloudy now so its going into the shop today.

Need to figure out what the deal is on it.

My wife's car was totaled last Monday when the roof of the building she works in blew off and landed on top of her's and 6 or 8 other cars. Insurance co. finally decided to total the car, have to get settled with them and then go look for another car. I HATE car shopping!!!! Would rather have a root canal done. Chris

NO!

Have to pull a head 'cause of a broken headbolt on a 6.2 Chevy diesel. YUCK!

Got two Lawnboy mowers that won't start. That isn't typical of Lawnboys so I need to find out why.

Speaking of that has anyone had experience with the "new" Lawnboys (say within last 5 years) with electric start and self-propelled? I have one that's about 5 yrs old and it is sometimes very hard to start, other times it starts "normal". And of course it's out of warranty!! It is definitely not my favorite mower. No where near the tough mower that older Lawnboys are.

Ron, Go on the www and type in Bat Auto . Pretty helpful site. Click on 'forems' and scroll down to small engines. You may have to make up a handle if you haven't used the site before.

My project today?? Pray for rain. My corn and beans have bean holding up good, but I sure darned need rain, quick. Insurance or not, I want a crop. Other than that same old, same old

Working on restoring an Oliver 60. Got to paint the wheels yet. Otherwise motors back in, all parts have arrived. Just got to work on it now. Might have a Farmall M coming. A friend wants to trade me for a decent 94 Ford Explorer. Can never have too many tractors...

Everything went ok. The oil pump intake screen was completely covered with some kind of crud. Cleaned it up, cleaned the pan out and stuck her back toghether and oil pressure is a ok. Just bought it last fall at a sale so I dont know any history on it but there was alot of stuff in the pan. Going to pull the radiator out tomorrow and have a look at the water pump. Always something to do.
