Left for work this morning about 4:30, got 1 mile from the house and a coon ran in front of me, couldn't avoid it, ran over it.About 5 miles later the low coolant lite came on. Stopped at local all nite gas station agot a gallon of pre-mix anti freeze. Filled radiator let run for 5 minutes no water leaks. resume trip to work and 5 miles out of town lite comes on again, add more to radiator and it's running out as fast as I pour it in. Have it towed in, shop justed called radiator shot possibly ac condensor. Best to hope for $500.00 worst $1,100.00.

Have you checked your insurance?

My Comprehensive covers collisions with wild animals, without having Collision coverage.

I always went with put a Tiger in your tank , not a coon in your radiator.I think you been out harvesting furbearers out of season without a license , and now you expect your insurance company to subsidize this unlawful activity.I think someone in the Federral Gubamint needs to investigate this situation. If your behavior continues they may not be no mo racoons for the rest of us to run over. How am I gonna get my ins. company to buy me a new radiator? Hopefully by now Roberto T. has called your ins. co or at least complained to the Moderator to get your post censored. That's what I think.

yea i had the torque converter go in my suv today needs a new tranny 2500 bucks ...my bad day

Could be worse, our Windstar van blew the tranny on the way to vacation on the WV toll road. And you can't rent a vehicle ANYWHERE after noon on a saturday. Needless to say, I had the Clark Griswold family vacation. Now I have a new van and another new payment.

I had one of those vacations that = a new car payment.
Funny how you cant rent a car on a Sat but you sure can buy a new one.
Blew the tranny on our Corsica on a trip. Mechanic would not be in until Monday and then maybe get a new tranny Tue or Wednesday.
No renting a car for out of town driving.

What you give me for trade on that Caravan?

I think it was the 3rd car before we caught up with the rear end whippin on the Corsica we took.
