How was the show? I am heading there tomorrow with my Super H for the tractor pull. Hope it doesn't get to 95 deg like they are saying!
 
Show was real nice! HOT, but nice. Had my 'never been out of the city' son in law with us. Watched the garden tractor pull for a while when he asks 'so what is the point here'. It was fun! Greg
 
Was there yestereday as well!! Always enjoy their show as they usually have a lot of tractors and demostrations going on!! Just wish it wasnt always so hot!! Would have stayed and went again today but wife didnt take the heat too well and wasnt feeling well so we came home last night!!
 
Greg ?,. I studied that 1st pix with the Stainless looking cab attached to the front of the Oliver and the Generator box run by the PTO ?,, And I gotta tell Ya, I am Perplexed as to what that is. and What Is going on For What Purpose ?,, Would You CARE to EXPLAIN ? Thanx Jim . P>S>

The first picture is a test mule tractor from the Nebraska State tractor test lab in Lincoln.They pulled this tractor around the track to measure the amount of drawbar HP a tractor would have.
 
Was presented by friends of the Nebraska test lab. If I recall right, this is the 3rd unit they have used to test tractor horsepower-they are currently using the 4th one built for this purpose. Dad has been there for testing, and says that they did not run the engine on the Oliver, but they had the test tractor turning the engine-it has a valve in place on the exhaust to reduce air flow-as part of the testing. It is very interesting to look at and read about! Greg
