This thing is out of time and I do not have a book and need to get it back in time can anyone out there give me a hand. Boss man took it apart last year and now he wants the hay put down and I am broke.

Have all the modules with two idlers been taken apart and cleaned? Those can be put back together without any timing required. Only the driven spindles that carry the discs need to be timed and you need a book and the OM may tell you how. There should be a diagram in the OM showing disc rotation. Basically they are 90 degrees to one another.

Did he have it apart to replace a sheared spline perhaps? There are timing marks on the shaft and the spline to help you place it correctly. Maybe he missed that?

Each disc should be at a right angle to the next disc. This means that if the knives are parallel with the cutting bar on one disc, the discs next to it should have the knives pointing to the front and back of the machine.
