That classic tractor fever is like the cold or flu?? I just sold a Case SC today. Neighbor brought it and drove it home. Called a little later to make sure he got home ok with it and to make sure he didn't have any problems. His wife followed him home. She told me when he got home and on the way home he was bouncing on the seat like Oliver did in green acres and he had a smile from ear to ear. She also said they would probably be buying more tractor from me. Go figure, oh by the way they are city people so I know they will be asking me a lot of questions

Talk safety and. forethought to him so he doesn"t get the thing on top of himself in a fit of irrational exuberance

Already BTDT with him and his wife. Talked to them about the hills thing and how not to do things. This SC is a trike so yep it can go over a tad bit faster then a wide front end. Also made sure he had a good idea of how every thing worked on it before I even let him drive away with it. Plus they only line a 2 miles from me so its easy to check up on them

Rich,
I think I have a fever.Sold a SW6 on saturday and low and behold a JD 60 drops on my front lawn last night.Think I 'll take some asprin.Good to hear you sold one.

Be carefull Old , the idea that a narrow front end tips easier can start a war, but I still believe they do.

I'm already on the look out for more tractors. I always try to buy 2 when I sell one so I can keep my collection growing. I'm down to 33 tractors right now so I need 2 or 3 more soon

Well yes any tractor can/will flip if you use them wrong or screw up some how. But yes a trike is a little more likely to flip then a wide front but just a tad bit

I have seen the trike wide frt battle many times, yes trikes tip easier, and the very simple way to describe why is to look at where the pivot point is, the trike is likely 2 feet lower, thereby raising the center of gravity that much. Basic physics. But they all are dangerous.

Old. One of these days, I am going to have to come visit your collection. I don't think my farm is too far from you. It is in Osage county, out of Belle.

Well I'm just 7 miles from the hwy 54 and 5 junction south off hwy 5. Shoot my web site even has a map that shows you how to get to my place from that junction and my phone number
