3020 John Deere

I have a 3020 john Deere Syncro. The three point hitch will either stay all the way up or all the way down. Nowhere in the middle it will not stay. I have the selector lever in depth position. I"ve tried all the positions and it did the same thing. I"m pulling a 3 point bushog. Thank You! Kyle

a easy fix for your mower would be putting chains from a fixed point to your lift arms, that way you can set it and forget it. Most tractor shops sell the kits to do it.

Sounds like the roller is off the cam follower, accessible thru the plug in right rear of tractor; I've always found it easier to remove the pipe nipple from the hydraulic oil filler and drop a homemade drop cord (12V bulb) in there so I could have enough light to see. The roller can be re-installed thru the rear plug using a stiff wire........assuming that is the problem.

Thurlow is that plug called the Load control arm extension plug.
