Just got home from SE OH back in NC. Baled 20 big round ones in two days 3 tractor break downs one mower break down some thunder storms shot two ground hogs and some home cooking had a great time seeing my Mom&Dad.

I just got back from NC to Ohio. I was on vacation, but I had the same kind of mechanical luck that you did. Left the van in WV, blown tranny. And that's where it's gonna stay. I gave up hay in June, to much to do by myself with old equipment, and all the rain didn't help either.

i tried to do some bailing saturday but the rain got me lost about 8 acres of good gras hay gonna let the neighbor have it hes gonna round bale it just to get it off the field for me oh well try again this weekend. RICK FROM SE OHIO

"shot two groundhogs and some home cooking". Just curious- did the home cooking involve the groundhogs? ;>) Your haying experience sounds like mine, back in the day- that, and trying to work it around a full time job, caused me to give it up about 5 years ago.
