Old Chevy Truck

A lady that owns a hay field I bale gave me a old Chevy truck today . It dont have a bed on it but would of had a 12 ft or so flat bed . Has duels on the rear . Trying to figger out the yr. It has the curved rear corner windows . What yrs. did they make these ?

Last year was 1954, IIRC.

Go to www.stovebolt.com and it show pics to help identify the year. That style was made from around '48 or '49 up till '55 or so. And there's little changes like door handles and vent windows that'll help ya determine the exact year.

I think the '49's had the turn down door handles, and the 50's had push button type. Been a long time, fer me!

The push button door handles came out in 1951

I think that the '55 first series looked like the '54, and the '55 second series had the wider hood, 12 volt electrics, etc.
