Am looking at buying an used van, has 84,000 miles. everything seem drives good, engine sound good, but power windows need work and Air won't blow where it should, A/C works and curise works.
Those I can fix.

Has any one have problems with this kind Van?

Good MPG? Told me takes 25.

I wouldn't put any of those vans at 25 mpg. Chevy site lists their new vans at 12-18 so I doubt the older ones' get 25, 15 is probably about right. Too much and too flat front area for good fuel mileage. I would check vacuum hoses and mechanical lines under the dash, must not be flippin a door to direct the air.
Things I didn't like, working and trying to get at stuff on a van, fuel mileage, and not having more in front of me in case of an accident, even though I didn't have any in 200k.

You're talking about a full size van? 25 MPG would be quite a trick. I had a full size 98 Chevy van with a 4.3 V6 and it got a best of 18 MPG. Also had a 95 smaller Astrovan with a 4.3 that got a best of 19.5 MPG. My older 89 full-size Sport Van with a 350 got 13 MPG on a long trip.

At present, the only van I have is a 98 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD with a 3.8 and it's gotten a best of 24.5 MPG.

For the air not being directed properly, it's probably a vacuum hose.

The only full sized van I had was an '85 GMC conversion van with a 6.2 diesel. It usually got around 22-24 mpg on a trip, so I think 25 would be stretching it on a gasser. Best thing about that 6.2 was if you were on a trip and started with a full (34 gallon) tank in the morning, you couldn't drive far enough in a day to worry about refueling.

The worst thing about it, was when you fueled up, and were putting diesel in it, someone always came running, yelling that that was diesel you were putting in it. Everyone assumed a conversion van would be a gas burner.

Your best bet would be to purchase a new hybrid mini van. By doing so you will not only get excellent mileage but an impressive warranty so you won't have to spend all your time fixing elctrical and mechanical problems. I believe it would be a better deal in the long run.

These vans are pretty solid vehicles, and fairly simple to work on. Fat chance at 25mpg, though- closer to 14-17. Think of it as a pick up- you'd never get 25mpg in a 1500 silverado, would you?
Shake the front end, these were notorious for lower ball joint issues at around this mileage.

it's an MIN van and it DOES have V8 engine, I checked it out!!!
