New Holland TC 30 Lifting rod

The bottom of my right (adjustable) lifting rod has broken several times. There is a factory tack weld at the end just where the threaded rod connects to the U-shaped end that attaches to the lower link. It breaks right at the weld.

A friend of mine has a 30 hp Ford with a much beefier lifting rod. Will a Ford lifting rod work on my New Holland? 2002 Model

If your lower lift link is bent significantly, the torque twist force will probably continue to break the clevis-end off from the rod. On mine, the lower links don't seem to have good temper and need straightening too often (Made in China?) If the links are not kept STRAIGHT, something's gotta give, and the heavier the load, the sooner the break. My Kubota links (same size tractor and loads) never bend and I'm tempted to find some used Kubota links that will fit the F/NH.
