Hey Allen or other cattle feeders

I found your bale stack pictures quite interesting. I know this is a little of a guess type problem, but do you have any idea what your imput costs are to put a pound of gain on a steer or what your return is per acre on your hay? Can you grow corn on those fields and if so what yields can you expect? Thanks in advance. J.

Ya need to talk to someone who does this for a living; I don't.

I raise what I feed and feed what I raise; only "input" I have is fuel and real estate taxes.

I use field run seed and re-new about every fourth year with certified.

No, wheat only; too dry in this area for corn.
