tractor tire prices?

Stopped in my friendly independent tire dealer a while back to price out a set of 14.9-38. Right near a grand. Not quite willing to cough that up just yet, but I did remember to ask if they were looking at any price increases. Yup. %9 july 1. don't know if that is nation wide, but if you're gonna get em, better do it before then.

I priced out a pair of 16.9x24 Field&Road tires today, they are $470 each. Wish I had the money 2 months ago when they were only $370 each. That's a 27% increase in 2 months.
 
I've dealt with these folks before and the tires they sell are overstocks and blems. Great folks to deal with. Your 13.6x38s are $290, 14.9x38s are $299.. How's that for a deal? If you have them sent to a company (I had mine sent to the local RR) the freight is cheap too.

You might check with Tire Town. The link below give pricing but you would need to factor in shipping, tubes, etc.

They deal a lot of new blemished tires but I don't know about the tractor ones.

yea they are good people.bought a set of rears from them and they had the best price I could find by alot. fast ship and was as claimed.
if you not see your size email them the size and they will let you know.
