Kaufman Trailers

Does anyone know about Kaufman Trailers? Looking at one for general farm abuse. They don't have any in my area to take a look at.

Made here in NC about 60 miles up the road from Charlotte. Well made trailer, not the heaviest, not the lightest either. Was going to buy one to haul hay on but found a used one (different brand) and bought it instead

Got one in 2004 a 20 foot goose neck went to the factory and they built me one to my spec. To me a good trailer for what I do with it

thanks for the info. was looking at a 22.5' tilt equipment trailer. They just didn't seem out of line for price and delivery.

in my opinion on of the second best trailers built..... what i like they build every type of trailer used from lowboys to car haulers.... and they will build what YOU want so u dont get something that could be better you get the best....

in fact i bout bought one until i found a local dealer that had what seemed like an equal or better trailer.....

dont think i didnt buy them cuz they arent a nice trailer i just couldnt see driving bout two hours from here in south carolina to over charlotte in NC to look at a trailer i might not like when i could drive into a local town thirty minutes away and wouldnt be losing as much

I've owned three and not one minutes trouble, only thing I don't like about Kaufman is there wiring. In my area they changed the name to Quality about three years ago because two of the Kaufman brothers manufacture trailers in my area so they go buy different brand names. I know several people that own them with no problems.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I will probably check into it a little closer and see how long it would take to get one.

Me and my father both own one and they are hands down the best trailer built. We had ours built with what we wanted on them. Excellent customer service.

I had a 16 foot 8,000 lb equipment trailer built by them about four years ago. Trailer is well built but 2 months after I bought it one of the wheels almost came off. Found no cotter pin to hold nut on axle. Checked other three wheels and found one axle nut threads stripped with no back up washer between bearings and nut. Called factory to talk to salesman but he was gone. Wrote two lellers but no answer. Went to BBB and they would not reply. Fixed axle myself. I would never buy from them again because of this. This was at the near Lexington, NC. DH
