honey bees in an old cat bulldozer

near me there is a old 1941 cat d-8 buldozer that has been sittins for a bout ten or so years probably and last week I was walking around and looking at it and I heard a buzzing noise and at first I just thought it was a fly then when I was walking on the trackand I looked back at the operaters platform and the seat there where honey bees flying in and out in two places so they must have built a large nest under the platform
they must also be some smart bees because they picked a place that will protect them forever

I go to junkyards a lot, looking for parts, and
nothing scares me more than Bees. Bumblebees
like to nest in old seat cushins, and others
make those half football size nests under half
opened hoods-anyplace sheltered from the rain.
Open with care, and be ready to run !!
