Kubota M8580

We have had an unending problem with this tractor overheating and would like to know if this is a design problem with this model.( if it is, is there a solution).
If anyone knows of a solution, please let us know. We have had it to the dealer over and over and they just tell us that one has to stop frequently to blow out the dust from around the radiator. We have, over time, put in three new thermostats. We have never been able to use the air conditioner in the cab and therefore almost die of heat exhaustion during hot weather.

I dont use the AC in the B3030 and just leave the windows open and it aint that bad. Coolant leak??? Fan clutch??? Are the hoses OK?? Radiator cap???

Is the pump working? Fins blown out so you can see through it? No leaks? Correct coolant mixture? Clean air filter? When was the last time you did a full flush and cleaning of the cooling system? Are the belts tight?

Googling Kubota overheating brings up some interesting posts; you might review some for ideas.
For factory design problems you might try the Kubota forums on tractorbynet and external_link. Good luck.

If it was mine I would add a Electric coolant fan in front of the condensor to get more air moving through to the radiator and check and make sure you did not miss a debri Screen in front of the Condensor and radiator.

I would also Check the engine Temperature with a Inferred temp gauge to verify Gauge accuracy.
Did the Dealer happen to Dyno the Engine???

Not sure why they don't make the cores larger in the tube design to allow more stuff to just pass through like my old Farmall M Does.

My L5030 started to make the heat gauge climb while round baling last year on a 98 F day when baling uphill so I turned the A/C off and finished out the afternoon.

Got home and 90% of the fins were clogged with dust and chaff. No air was getting through. Was packing in hard but was able to blew it out and she was back in action.
