spark plugs JD unsty. D

Hello its the skinner again what kind of plugs should I use on my 39 JD D I gave the numbers to the parts guy and he is confused, anyway the tractor starts when I pull it within 5 feet but hand starting has been a bear any suggestions thanks.

If I remember right the unstyled D will take the same plug as the unstyled B does and I use Autolite 3077s in my B. I haven't got my D unstuck yet so I haven't tried them in it yet

Champion W-20 should work fine.

Make sure the impulse is working correct when hand starting , I had that trouble with mine. You could pull it 3-5 ft and it would start. I had a spring in the impuls that was not working correct. When you pull it the motor turns faster and the impuls is not needed to start.

I use Autolite 3077s in mine, 3076's will work too but the 3077 is a longer reach.
