I am doing an in-frame overhaul on my 826 Farmall. I am doing the main bearings from the bottom of the tractor by leaving the crankshaft in the tractor. Problem is there is one bearing I can't get to. It is the number 7 (closest to the rear of the tractor). There is a piece of metal that the oil pan connects to that is right below the main bearing bolts so I can't remove them. However, it is cut on both ends so it looks like it is suppose to be removed just for this reason. If anyone knows anything about this or how to remove that piece of metal so I can get the last bearing changed PLEASE HELP!
