My name is Allison Merritt. My deepest sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your father.

My Great Grandfather was Allie Basham. My Great Grandmother was Addie Basham. They had a farm in Parkville, Missouri. My Grandma was Olivetta Basham-House. I remember many years ago, she passed in 1992, she told me that her cousin was doing geneology work on the Basham Family. I think his name was either Carl or Clay Basham. He visited her several times gatering nformation on the Bashams. Was this your father? I know our side of the Bashams were from Cowgill also. I also had a great-uncle by the name of Moine Basham and a great-aunt by the name of Mary Francis Basham.

About 30 years ago, my mom, grandma and great grandma took me to an old farm in Cowgill. Grandma told me that was where she grew up. I'm wondering what the connection is. I have pictures of the farmhouse.
