lightning and ragweeds

Sprayed my Clearfield corn with lighning and atrazine monday , the giant ragweed only slowed its growth from lightning ,,, gonna have to find another tool to get the devils crop of ragweeds ,, Anyone KNOW what I should use ? thanx jim

Atrazine will not do anything for your weeds after they are established. I would have used 2-4-D or Banvil to knock down established weeds in corn.

That I know about atrazine also ,,, trouble is with lioghtning Corn , I probably cant use 24dor banvil , thanx , jim

Cultivation!
I know, but it has worked for millenia.
If it is in patches, a hand tank sprayer with 2-4-D is possible. JimN

Use 3 oz of callisto and 1/4# atrazine and they will be dead before you leave the field with the sprayer. Any herbicide labeled for use on "conventional" corn (no trait) can be used on any traited corn, so yes, you can use banvel or 2,4-D on your clearfield corn. I don't know why you'd want to, though. 'Course, don't know why you'd want to plant clearfield corn to begin with.
