I just had a set of 5:00-15 tires filled with foam for $238.00. OK for that application but the price for the 11L-15 tires on the loader tractor is over a grand.
The price for rear 13.6X28 or 16.9x30 tires, don"t ask if your heart is weak.
Of all the "Wonder" products to add to tube and tubelss tires used around thorns & field stubble. Which products work and don"t work?

The front tires could be changed over to aircraft tires,14-16 ply ,I have them on my batwing,4 years and no flats. A local mowing contractor uses airplane tires on the front and a second tire with the bead cut off, mounted over the tractor's rear tires. This is on a dedicated mowing tractor.Claims no flats in 2 years.

I use a product from NAPA called Amer-Seal. I probably have in 50-60 tires at work ( mowers, tractors and equipt.) and it has cut my tire repairs by a lot. It seals well and if you need to make a larger repair like an inside patch it will rinse out with just warm water. Slime green goo really messes up your tires and rims. HTH Jf

I'd change to 16" rims,a lot more tire choices, less cost than the 15".A lot of 3/4 and 1 tons have 16" 10 ply rated tires that work great on a loader.I've never seen any difference between 3 ribs and implement tread on steering control.

I second the aircraft tires; bought a set (22 ply) pre-mounted for my mowing tractor; change back to regular tires when I'm done mowing; also have 4 on Brillion bat-wing mower; have NEVER had a flat on any of them. I called 'em and they shipped open-account by truck...............

I buy tire sealer by the 5 gallon bucket. Works good for most small leaks in tubeless or tubetype. There are some causes they don't work such as too big of holes, if the leak is on the sidewall and not for high speed tires. Other than that I highly recommend it.

$238.00!?!? OUCH! Why so costly? I use a local forklift repair shop to foam/rubber fill ALL of the offroad tires on my place and it JUST went up to $1.25 a pound. I jumped in and caught up at a buck a pound B4 the increase. Wagons, wheelbarrow, handtrucks, and riding mower all filled and no more downtime over flats.
I'd shop around and see if you can't find some place less expensive.

I just bought new Firestone 12.5/80-18 tires for the front of my backhoe. Tires cost $270 each plus stems $8.00 each plus mounting. I asked about foam filling they said it would cost $260 each and they had to cure for 72 hours. I went for a product called reseal cost $18 a gal. I can't tell you if it works, I just got them Friday.

Before we used the product from NAPA called Amer-Seal, that johnski mentioned we spent more time repairing the 8N front tires than we did using it. Works for me.

I have always been wary of tire leak sealers, but this spring TSC had Berryman's at half price so I bought a couple bottles and used it in my lawn tractor tires which I would get slow leaks in from thorns, berry bushes etc. It seems to have worked well so far. Not sure how it woiuld work in larger/heavier applications. I have heard the green "Slime" works too, never tried it.

I managed to get a flat on my aircraft tires. Had no idea when it went flat, I eventually noticed the stem was not visible. The tire wall was strong enough to hold up the front of the tractor.
