What do you mean by plug hole? I sprayed into the carb. It would start while it was being sprayed but it would stop as soon as you stopped
spraying.

spark plug hole, but if the carb works use that. An engine needs 3 things to run, spark, fuel, and compression

spark-If it ran with fluid you have spark

Compression-if it ran with fluid you have compression

fuel-what the fluid was then. Is the gas stale?? Is it fresh??? Is there some blockage??? Take the end of the fuel line off the carb and see if gas comes out. Word of experience here-have something to catch the gas so you can put it back into the tank afterward. If theres gas there-then i'd say the carb needs ajustment or other work. If not-put the line back to the carb and remove the gas tank end. If gas comes out the bottom of the tank, clean or replace the fuel line. If not you have a theif, a blockage, or you have pulled a Lanse Edwards. Dont feel bad :)

Try this and tell us how it went

Dont be using ether, use carb cleaner. If it fires on carb cleaner and dies when you quit spraying, you'll more than likely be looking at pulling the carb to clean it. Be sure to check the fuel delivery to the carb before you do this!
