Any body know how many quarts of oil it takes to change the oil in one?? I have a guy that wants me to fix a problem on his which I have the parts on order for and at the same time he wants me to change his oil. Problem is I don't know how much oil the engine holds. I figure on using Rotella maybe 15W-30 etc but need to know how much to get.
Thanks

Old most of the big engines hold 3 gallons but If I was you I would drain it and then look to see how much comes out. Make sure you get the correct oil weight and type for this engine.
