They have some of those up the road from me. Those critters seem to be outside all the time. It will be cold and snowing, and they will be pawing thru the snow. They have a shelter for them, they just don't like being inside.

Have you ever seen the movie entitled "Johnson County War"? They have a HUGE Scottish Highland bull in there that is just monsterous.

them's my kind of cows. scotch highlands i love em!
last winter the only time i saw them in barn was one of those day long drizzles that soaked them to the skin, or if it's 0 and lots of wind.
i have a heifer i call spunky i swear she hit the ground running when she came out the trap door.
