need Valve cover gasket

Recent comments on this forum tell me I need to open and clean out the gunk inside the valve cover for a 1967 Case 540 (Gas). So far I can't find any gasket suppliers. What would you reccommend on making my own valve cover gasket?

Almost certainly, CIH will still have the gaskets available, and any REAL auto parts store with a Fel-Pro or Victor Ag and Industrial gasket catalog will be able to order the valve cover set for you, as well.

I agree completely with Bob and would like to add that any decent auto parts store will stock gasket material so that you can make your own.

Good Luck

Silicone always works also. I had a Chevy van with a 250 in it and the valve cover was always leaking. Took it off, cleaned it up and put silicone on it, and put it back on. Never leaked again.
